To help activate live bid/ask marketplace StockX within London culture and grow their reach within the football and music landscape across the UK, we worked on multiple activations through the lens of our media platform GAFFER.
We curated an exclusive exhibition at the temporary Stock X pop-up space in Soho, London, which reflected the core ethos of GAFFER – bridging the gap between football, music and fashion – to invite the visitors of the store into the heart of contemporary culture. This six-week exhibition paid homage to the leaders, designers and iconic collectibles which are changing the face of the game forever; providing a unique insight into the ways in which the worlds of fashion and football are moving ever closer.
To commemorate the successful run of the exhibition and to celebrate GAFFER’s debut year, we hosted an end of year party in association with StockX. Held at TAPE London, the event presented the culture and universe of both GAFFER and StockX, and included an exclusive live performance from Octavian alongside a curated guestlist which featured Maya Jama, Ella Balinkska, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Emile Smith Rowe and Jones Blue.
The Changing Face of Football exhibition paid homage to the leaders, designers and iconic collectibles which are changing the face of the game forever; providing a unique insight into the ways in which the worlds of fashion and football are moving ever closer.
The six-week event featured a selection of the biggest milestone moments in the evolution of GAFFER alongside ‘The Jersey Room’ which offered an exploration into the cultural shift of the modern football jersey. We curated the most unique and interesting designers around the world in order to capture the fusion between fashion and football and chart the replica shirt renaissance by presenting the bold designs of high-fashion collaborations and by exploring how designers are introducing sustainability into performance clothing.
